The south swell finally arrived, In Byron Bay Today it wasn’t quite the booming event forecast. But it was welcomed by many none the less. On the open, south facing beaches it had a bit of size, with the occasional overhead wave pushing through. In the bay itself, it was a little smaller but still fun for the longboarders and the kids. For those who made the effort today, they were rewarded. We spotted a few locals getting a sneaky little peak all to themselves. We decided not to shoot it. Some things are best left quiet. After all a secret spots not a secret if you tell everyone where it is. We also met some very happy and groovy people In Byron Bay Today. Many people were simply enjoying the pleasure of letting go a little, great to see. Others were indulging in one of my favourite pastimes, i.e. being downright silly. Remember, cool is cold, if you’re worried about how it looks to others you’re missing out.
